ECC to discuss Electricity purchase from Iran

October 28, 2020 (MLN): Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) will discuss the contract with TAVANIR Iran for the purchase of 104 MW of Electricity. The summary was moved by the Power division.

The special meeting is scheduled to take place today, i.e. October 28, 2020, at Cabinet Division.

The Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue will chair the meeting wherein the following important agenda points will be discussed:

Survey of Coastal Areas
Waiver of Demurrage Charges on Afghan Transit Cargo/Afghan Bound containers Stranded at Karachi Ports
Taxation Issues- Constitution of Committee
Additional Allocation of gas from PGNiG’s Rehman Gas field to SSGCL
