November 12, 2018 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting, under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Asad Umar, has approved a loan amounting to Rs 17 billion to Pakistan International Airline Corporation (PIAC).

During the meeting, matters pertaining to gas allocation were also discussed and the committee decided that 100 mmcf/day of gas from Britism gas field will be allocated to Sui Southern Gas (SSGC) and 120 mmcf/ day of gas from Dhodak gas field will be allocated to Sui Northern Gas.

However, the decision regarding gas load management has been postponed.
