Cyclone threat prompts AGL to suspend urea plant activities

June 14, 2023 (MLN): Agritech Limited (PSX: AGL) Urea plant operations will stand suspended with effect from June 13, 2023, the company filing on PSX showed today.

This suspension is primarily attributed to the restriction of gas supply as a result of the Cyclone Biporjoy threat alert.

This has hampered the birthing of RLNG Cargoes, thus curtailing RLNG flow to SNGPL and adversely affecting pipeline pack levels in the SNGPL system

The principal business of AGL is the production and sale of Urea and Granulated Single Super Phosphate fertilizer.
