Colgate-Palmolive reclassified from 'Chemical' to 'Food & Personal Care Products' sector

May 24, 2024 (MLN): The sector of Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan Limited (COLG) is changed from ‘Chemical’ to ‘Food & Personal Care Products’ based on the nature of the business.

The local bourse announced this development through a notice issued on Thursday.

In light of the above, the company will be quoted under the Food & Personal Care Products sector, effective from. Monday, June 03, 2024.

It is worth mentioning that COLG is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of detergents, personal care and other related products.

Moreover, its name was changed to Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited on March 28, 1990, when the company entered into a Participation Agreement with Colgate-Palmolive Company, USA.
