July 05, 2024 (MLN): Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Certificates for the Tax Year 2024 will be issued to all relevant investors/taxpayers falling under the purview of the CGT regime as per sub-rule (4) of rule 1 of the Eighth Schedule to the Ordinance by August 15, 2024.

The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited informed market participants of this development through a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

NCCPL communicated this in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (Ordinance), and the Income Tax Rules, 2002.
