CDWP approves six projects worth over Rs16b in various sectors

May 20, 2020: Central Development Working Party has approved six projects worth over 16 billion rupees in various sectors.

The meeting, which met in Islamabad today (Tuesday) with Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan in the chair, approved a health project titled Strengthening Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System” worth 201.917 million rupees.

This project will create a revamped model of registration of all vital events like births, deaths, and marriage in Islamabad Capital Territory.

It also granted approval to Balochistan Human Capital Investment Project worth over 56 billion rupees.

The CDWP nodded “Jalozai Campus of UET Peshawar” worth over 6.5 billion rupees.

E-Office Replication at Division of the Federal Government” worth 689.653 million too got CDWP's approval.

The major objective of this project includes replacing e-office and filling system in all Ministries and Divisions to achieve the goal of internal efficiency and effectiveness.

Second project titled “Feasibility and System Definition Study of Pakistan Satellite Navigation Program worth 780 million rupees was also approved in the meeting.

The meeting granted approval to Establishment of Hub Special Economic Zone” worth over 2.2 billion rupees.
