BOP appoints Mr. Khalid Tirmizey as Acting President

December 11, 2018 (MLN): Mr. Khalid Siddiq Tirmizey, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Bank of Punjab (BOP) has been appointed as the Acting President, with effect from December 7, 2018, until a new President is appointed.

The aforementioned information was divulged in an official announcement from BOP, to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

Mr. Khalid Siddiq Tirmizey worked for PICIC from 1973 till 1979. He held various managerial positions in Pakistan and abroad after joining ANZ Grindlays Bank.

He remained with Faysal Bank Limited from 2000 till 2008 and left to join the Bank of Punjab in 2008 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer till date.

He has been Chairman of Board of Directors of First Punjab Modaraba and a regular member (as invitee) of all BOD meetings.
