Bannu Woollen Mills extends production shutdown amid reduced dealer orders

March 26, 2024 (MLN): Due to a reduction in anticipated orders from the mill's dealers for the financial year 2024-2025, the management of the Bannu Woollen Mills Limited (PSX: BNWM) has decided to extend the temporary shut down of its production activities from March 27, 2024 to April 14, 2024.

The company disseminated this information through a notice issued to PSX today.

It is crucial to note that the company's production activities will resume on April 15, 2024.

"Further updates, if any, in this regard will be communicated accordingly," the notice concludes.

The company is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of woolen yarn, cloth, and blankets.

At the time of writing, BNWM's share is being quoted at Rs23, down 50 paisa or 2.13% compared to the previous session's close.
