Zuma Resources sets up wholly owned UK subsidiary

September 21, 2026 (MLN): Zuma Resources Limited has set up a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Kingdom, Zuma Global Ltd, to expand its technology and global connectivity business in international markets, and the new unit is moving towards launching SIM and digital connectivity operations in the UK.

The company said the UK operations would be delivered through the group's global connectivity solutions, including its eSIM marketplace, sim.market.

Zuma Global was incorporated in England and Wales on September 18 as a private limited company, with Sohaib Anwar named as its director.

Zuma Resources holds all 100 ordinary shares of the subsidiary, each with a nominal value of £1, making for fully paid share capital of £100.

The company said formal regulatory engagement with the Office of Communications (Ofcom), the UK's communications regulator, has been initiated for digital and physical SIMs powered by sim.market.

It has also taken steps to align its operations, customer framework and digital platforms with UK regulatory and consumer-compliance requirements, it added.

The UK operations are intended to offer eSIMs, physical SIMs and other connectivity solutions to customers through the company's technology platforms.

The company said the UK is expected to serve as an important market and operating base for its international expansion, and that it plans to introduce and market its SIM and related digital services progressively, subject to regulatory, commercial and technical requirements.
