December 30, 2022 (MLN): Meezan Bank Ltd (MEBL) informed that Banks can settle Debit/Credit card transactions on international merchants/websites by purchasing dollars from open market, the bank has announced on its official social media platform on Friday.

Hence, the conversion rate on these transactions is applied according to the prevailing open market rate which may differ from the rate displayed on the international merchant website.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is being traded at Rs99.99, which is up by Rs0.81 or 0.82% DoD.
