Balochistan govt taking practical steps to promote communications in neglected areas

Balochistan government is taking practical steps for promotion of communications in neglected areas of the province.       

According to an official of Provincial Communications Department, a metaled road via Dargai to Shabozai and Tunsa Sharif is being constructed at a cost of over Rs 1,918 million.   

Likewise, construction of a bridge on Pat Feeder Canal in Gopat area of Naseerabad district is also to be completed at a cost of Rs 49 million.

Meanwhile, the provincial government is also utilizing huge amounts for promotion of Agriculture sector in the province. A senior official of Provincial Agriculture Department said that a project of construction of GAT Shalezai gravity dam in Muslim Bagh area of Qilla Saifullah district is to be completed at a cost of more than Rs 93 million. 

Similarly, construction of emergent shore protection west bay of Jiwani in Gawadar district is also being carried out at a cost of more than Rs 91 million.

Besides, construction of Khan Tangi Delay Action Dam in Qilla Saifullah district is being executed at a cost of more than Rs 49 million.
