Avanceon's subsidiary awarded 1.2M QAR Infrastructure Project in Preparation for FIFA World Cup 2022

November 25, 2020 (MLN): Avanceon Automation and Control WLL, a subsidiary of Avanceon Limited incorporated in the State of Qatar, has been contracted to provide a comprehensive PLC System for the E-Ring Road Pumping Stations situated South of the Capital City Doha.

The Construction and Upgradation project will create strategic links between eight expressways and major ring roads, which will further strengthen the north-south connectivity in Qatar.

The Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor will provide access to more than 25 residential areas and facilitate access to five FIFA World Cup 2022 stadiums.

The new Corridor will be a vital alternative and parallel route that will serve thousands of daily commuters from the north to the south of Doha.

According to the details disclosed by the company, the total value of the project is approx. 1.2 M QAR Plus. The project is currently underway and Avanceon expects to complete it within the agreed timeline.

This contract execution gives a pathway for positive impact on group’s business and value for its shareholders.

Scope of Work include:

  1.  Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of PLC System for Pumping Stations
  2.  Compliance with Local Authority Standards and Customer’s Technical Specifications
  3.  Engineering Services with solution comprising of Schneider Electric Control Systems Management Quotes Avanceon will be partnering with Schneider Electric for the execution of this project.

As per the company’s notice to PSX, Avanceon’s long service history, strong project references and technically sound and innovative solution played a major role in acquiring this project.

Avanceon will be complying with QHSE and local authority requirements (Ashghal) to ensure all safety, quality, and environmental issues.

The acquiring of this project further solidifies the customer’s trust in Avanceon’s ability to execute challenging projects, notice added.
