Avanceon wins Contract to upgrade Critical Infrastructure for multiple sites across Qatar

November 25, 2020 (MLN): Avanceon Automation and Control WLL, a subsidiary of Avanceon Limited, has been contracted to upgrade Water & Wastewater, Package Treatment Plants and Filtration Systems at seven different locations across Qatar.

The upgradation projects are part of Ashghal’s ongoing effort to achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030 goals and prepare for the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Ashghal, the Public Works Authority of Qatar, is responsible for the design, construction, delivery, and maintenance of all major projects including storm and rainwater, wastewater and sewage drainage and treatment across Qatar.

The infrastructure projects are to accommodate future developments and expected population growth.

As per the details of the project disclosed by the company, the total value of the project is approx. 1.0 M QAR.  The work on this project is currently underway and Avanceon expects to complete it within the agreed timelines.

Scope of Work include:

• Installation, Testing & Commissioning of PLC & Field Instruments.
• Design, Engineering and Supply of PLC System and all related accessories
• FAT, SAT, Supervision on Installation, Panel Termination, Integration, Programming, Configuration, Testing, Commissioning & Project Hand Over Management Quotes.

As per the company’s notice to PSX, Avanceon will be partnering with world class OEMs for the execution of this project.

Avanceon’s long service history, strong project references and technically sound and innovative solution played a major role in acquiring this project the notice added.
