Avanceon marks its entry in the Arab Republic of Egypt

September 6, 2021 (MLN): Avanceon FZE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Avanceon Limited established in the Middle East, in a joint effort with Elsewedy Electric, has secured its first contract in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Avanceon will be providing a State of the Art DCS, SCADA, and Instrumentation solution for Abu Zaabal Fertilizer & Chemical Company (AZFC).

AZFC’s fertilizer production facility, located in El Sebaaeya district of Edfu, produces single superphosphate and triple superphosphate at a combined capacity of 1,600 MT/day. The facility resides on a 350,000 sq. m plot area and is divided into two zones, The first comprises of fertilizer production and auxiliary facilities stretching over a total expanse of 207,000 sq. m. The second is reserved for future production of sulfuric acid. Ideally located 500 m away from the Nile River banks. The facility is assured of a secure water supply source that is vital for its industrial/domestic uses and cost-effective operations.

As per the notice issued to PSX, Avanceon, along with Elsewedy Electric, will provide a comprehensive Distributed Control System (DCS), SCADA System, and Instrumentation Solution for AZFC’s new extension project.

The total cost of the project is a 4.4million EGP. The project is in its initial stages. Avanceon expects to complete it within the agreed time frame.

The scope of the work includes:

1. Supply, Design, Installation, Integration, and Commissioning of Instrumentation, SCADA, and DCS System.
2. Project Management, Documentation, Development, and inhouse Engineering
3. Start-Up and Commissioning Services Onsite with Performance Testing (FAT & SAT)

Avanceon will provide all services in accordance with the local regulatory and QHSE authorities’ requirements. For the execution of this project, Avanceon will be partnering with World Class OEMs.
