Askari Bank President and Chief Executive Mr. Syed M. Hussaini resigns

In a notice issued to the bourse, Askari Bank has informed all the relevant stakeholders that President and Chief Executive of the Bank Mr. Syed M. Hussaini has left the bank with effect from March 28^th, 2018.

In his place Mr. Saleem Anwar has been appointed as the Acting President and Chief Executive of the Bank.

A special Meeting of Board of Directors was also called today at Rawalpindi subsequent to the announcement of resignation in order to ratify the Circular Resolution and accep resignation of outgoing President and Chief Executive.

The meeting will also go through the business of appointing a new President and Chief Executive.
