ARL cuts refinery run-rate by 50% owing to low demand

March 27, 2020 (MLN): Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) has informed Exchange via a notification that the Refinery is currently operating at 50% of its capacity owing to the low demand for petroleum products due to the coronavirus issue.

However, the company clarified that sufficient inventories of products are available to meet the current requirement which has also been informed to the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) accordingly.

Moreover, the situation will be kept under review for any further appropriate action.
