Ample stock of petroleum products available in the country

April 07, 2022 (MLN): Pakistan has adequate stocks of petroleum products to meet the demand, industry sources told MG News today.

As per the sources, currently, diesel stocks stand at around 540,000 metric tons which is sufficient for 24 days. While petrol is also well stocked and presently the country has 605,000 metric tons of the commodity that can last for 24 days.

The country equally has 189,000 metric tons of furnace oil in stock that can cover demand for 15 days.

In addition, jet fuel stocks amounting to 26,000 metric tons are available for 16 days.
