Allied Engineering sets record date for ARM certificate holders

February 16, 2024 (MLN): The Board of Directors (BoD) of Allied Engineering Management Company (Private) has decided that the record date for determining the identities of the certificate holders of Allied Rental Modaraba (PSX: ARM) shall be the close of business on February 26, 2024. ARM's filing on PSX disclosed today.

It is important to highlight here that ARM is getting demerged and its specified assets and liabilities are getting transferred to ith and into Allied Rental Services and Allied Transport and Logistics Limited (Unlisted Public Company).

Consequently, the final and permanent book closure of the certificate transfer register of ARM shall be February 27, 2024.

Furthermore, the certificate holders of ARM holding physical modaraba certificates (if any) will be requested to surrender and deposit their original modaraba certificates with ARM's registrar on or before the close of business on February 26, 2024, during normal working hours on business days, for cancellation.

The notice also informs stakeholders about the approval of the demerger scheme by the Honourable Sindh High Court and the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
