AGSML shareholders authorize board to fix remuneration, expenses

February 23, 2024 (MLN): The shareholders of Abdullah Shah Ghazi Sugar Mills Limited (PSX: AGSML) have authorized the Board of Directors (BoD) to fix their remuneration plus reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses and any government levies to be billed at actual on the recommendation of the Board Audit Committee.
According to a notice issued by the company to PSX today, the aforementioned agenda was approved during the 40th annual general meeting held today.
Additionally, the members have appointed Messrs Zahid Jamil & Co, Chartered Accountants as auditors of the company.
Furthermore, the meeting also led to the approval of the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended September 30, 2023 together with the reports of the Directors and Auditors.
