Service Group, Chinese firm form joint venture for Tyre manufacturing plant in Pakistan

June 9, 2021 (MLN): A joint venture of Service Group and Chinese firm Chaoyang long March Tyre Co Ltd is all set to commence the manufacturing plant this month in Pakistan for the buses and trucks.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Abdul Razzak Dawood, Adviser to PM for Commerce and Investment said, “MOC is pleased to announce is that Service Group joint venture with Chinese firm Chaoyang Long March Tyre Co Ltd, is ready to start its manufacturing plant this month in Pakistan for buses and trucks”.

In a series of Tweet, he mentioned that the total cost of the project is Rs 16.43 billion.

The Joint Venture plans to export at least 85% of its tyre output, he added.
