Sazgar: Three-wheelers sale down by 85% MoM in July

August 18, 2022 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW) sold 259 units of Auto Rickshaw during the month of July 2022, which was around 85% lower than the sales of 1,797 units made in the previous month, the company’s filing on PSX showed today.

In an announcement regarding the sales and production data of three-wheelers for the month of July 2022, the company informed that the production for the month totaled 244 units i.e., 73% lower than the units produced during the previous month.

In addition, the company sold 6 units of four-wheelers-off road and passenger vehicles against the production of 23 units during the said month under review.

In June 2022, the company informed that it has successfully completed manufacturing facilities as of June 30, 2022, for the manufacturing/assembly of GWM “HAVAL” vehicles.

To recall, SAZEW had joined hands with Haval, which is an automotive marque owned by famous Chinese automaker GreatWall Motors (GWM) in March 2021.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is trading at Rs66.50, down by 5 paisa or 0.07% DoD.
