RDA inflows cross $5bn mark

October 6, 2022 (MLN): Inflows into the Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) crossed $5 billion mark to reach $5.15bn by the end of September 2022, witnessing a monthly increase of $168bn from the previous month, latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) showed on Thursday.

Of the total $5.1bn, $1.7bn have been investment in conventional Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPC) and $1.6b in Islamic NPCs. Meanwhile, another $45 million have been invested in to the stock exchange.

As per the data shared by the SBP, 472,023 individuals have opened RDA accounts from more than 175 countries around the world.
