Pakistan targets youth empowerment in Tech, AI

August 12, 2025 (MLN): The government has placed the development of youth skills in modern technology and artificial intelligence among its top national priorities, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said in a message marking International Youth Day.
Joining the global community in recognizing the
contributions of young people, the prime minister praised Pakistan’s youth as a
symbol of determination, courage and resilience and a driving force in the
nation’s economic growth.
He noted that skilled young professionals are
actively contributing to economic activities, using their intelligence and
energy to ensure the benefits of development reach the wider population.
The
federal government, he added, is pursuing a range of policies and practical
measures aimed at strengthening education, skills and professional capacity
among the youth to prepare them for future challenge
