Pakistan likely to sell $500mn green bonds tomorrow

May 27, 2021 (MLN): Pakistan is all set to sell $500million green bonds in the international market tomorrow.

The cut-off yield is expected to be around 8%, as per sources.

For the unversed, earlier this month, Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) announced to issue $500million Green Bonds in the global market to help accelerate the pace of expansion in water reservoir.

In this regard, WAPDA hired JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered, and Habib Bank to arrange the planned benchmark issuance of 7-year or 10-year bonds subject to market conditions.
