Pakistan, UAE reaffirm commitment to strengthen bilateral relations

October 01, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties as the Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani, met UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Presidential Palace Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, Kayani conveyed Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s greetings and reiterated the invitation for the UAE President to undertake an official visit to Pakistan.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan appreciated the gesture and extended his regards to Pakistan’s leadership and people.

Both sides emphasized their shared resolve to further deepen longstanding brotherly relations, with discussions highlighting avenues of cooperation in finance, railways and regional connectivity.

Kayani is in Abu Dhabi to represent Pakistan at the Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference (GRTIEC), organized by Etihad Rail, focusing on infrastructure development and regional integration.
