Pakistan, Saudi Arabia to strengthen economic ties, boost bilateral trade

October 08, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are to strengthen their economic partnership as a strategic discussion on bilateral trade and investment cooperation is all set to take place.

A high-level Saudi business delegation led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council arrived in Islamabad yesterday.

Senior government officials, chambers of commerce, and leading business groups from both nations are scheduled to engage in discussions aimed at exploring new avenues for enhanced bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

The meetings will focus on trade and investment facilitation across priority sectors that align with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 program and Pakistan's economic growth agenda.

The visit is to emphasize the deep-rooted and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, showing their shared commitment to expanding economic and investment partnerships under the framework of the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council.

Both sides have expressed optimism that the discussions will pave the way for concrete business agreements and joint ventures.
