Pakistan, HWPL reaffirm commitment to global peace and humanitarian cooperation

September 26, 2025 (MLN): A delegation from the Korean organization Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), led by Mr. Kim Joonyun, Chief Branch Manager of Global10 Branch, held a meeting with Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, at the Ministry in Islamabad.

Discussions centered
on the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War presented by HWPL.
The delegation
highlighted their global mission for peace and humanitarian service, including
relief activities in flood-affected areas.
HWPL, an
international NGO with consultative status at the UN Department of Global
Communications and ECOSOC, also expressed concern over humanitarian crises in
Kashmir, Palestine, and Ukraine.
The Federal Minister
informed the delegation that Pakistan has sacrificed thousands of lives in the
war on terror.
He emphasized that
the Prime Minister and national leadership are committed to achieving
sustainable peace and development.
He also paid tribute
to Pakistan’s armed forces and citizens for their resilience in countering
India’s provocations and protecting national sovereignty.
Highlighting ongoing
flood relief efforts in Punjab, the Minister said that under the Ministry of
Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, several initiatives are being carried
out to ensure timely distribution of relief packages.
He added that the
Government of Punjab is actively working on the rehabilitation of flood
victims.
On the occasion,
Hamid Hameed (former Minister of State) and Naveed Aamir Jeeva (Member National
Assembly) were also present.
Both sides
reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation for global peace,
humanitarian service, and social safety through continued dialogue and mutual
understanding.
