PSX issues revised calendar for Government Ijarah Saukuk auction

September 16, 2025 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) revised the auction schedule of Government of Pakistan Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) in line with the instructions issued by the Debt Management Office (DMO) of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

According to the revised calendar, the GIS primary market auction, earlier scheduled for September 17, 2025, will now be held on September 29, 2025. The settlement date has been set for September 30, 2025.

PSX clarified that the auction target size and all other relevant details will remain unchanged. The formal auction notice, along with additional particulars, will be issued to the market ahead of the revised auction date.

This adjustment comes as part of the government’s debt management strategy to facilitate market operations while ensuring efficient participation in sukuk issuances.
