November 03, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Monday's trading session at 162,803.15, showing an increase of 1,171.42 points or 0.72%.
The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 163,935.02 (+2,303.29) and a low of 161,892.59 (+260.86) points.
The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 353.00 million shares.
Of the 100 index companies 63 closed up, 37 closed down, while 0 were unchanged.
Top gainers during the day were TRG (+10.01%), THALL (+6.58%), PSEL (+5.89%), KAPCO (+5.75%), and NML (+5.68%).
On the other hand, top losers were SNGP (-7.26%), PGLC (-5.03%), PTC (-2.96%), BNWM (-2.95%), and PKGS (-2.87%).
In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were FFC (+459.19pts), ENGROH (+362.63pts), NBP (+120.88pts), HUBC (+100.25pts), and TRG (+88.52pts).
Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were UBL (-144.12pts), BAHL (-123.43pts), HBL (-116.41pts), MEBL (-99.40pts), and SNGP (-91.91pts).
Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Fertilizer (+528.30pts), Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (+384.26pts), Power Generation & Distribution (+127.63pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+95.36pts), and Technology & Communication (+95.34pts).
While the index was let down by Commercial Banks (-291.79pts), Oil & Gas Marketing Companies (-77.08pts), Paper, Board & Packaging (-19.14pts), Leather & Tanneries (-13.24pts), and Engineering (-9.62pts).
In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 51,275.74 with a net gain of 214.70 points or 0.42%.
Total market volume was 949.36 million shares compared to 952.86m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs47.58 billion showing an increase of Rs5.31bn.
There were 436,435 trades reported in 486 companies with 262 closing up, 176 closing down, and 48 remaining unchanged.
