PSX Closing Bell: Smooth Operator

November 10, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Monday's trading session at 161,538.40, showing an increase of 1,945.50 points or 1.22%.

The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 161,881.45 (+2,288.55) and a low of 160,406.42 (+813.52) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 225.01 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies 77 closed up, 20 closed down, while 3 were unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were EFERT (+7.67%), ATRL (+5.73%), YOUW (+5.31%), PIOC (+5.25%), and ENGROH (+4.65%).

On the other hand, top losers were PSEL (-6.11%), TPLRF1 (-1.56%), AGP (-1.50%), MUREB (-1.30%), and UBL (-0.80%).

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were ENGROH (+331.29pts), FFC (+324.74pts), EFERT (+319.16pts), OGDC (+145.19pts), and PPL (+123.05pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were PSEL (-93.86pts), UBL (-89.83pts), AGP (-8.35pts), TPLRF1 (-7.72pts), and MEBL (-7.05pts).

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Fertilizer (+662.35pts), Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (+323.23pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+319.41pts), Cement (+197.45pts), and Technology & Communication (+171.18pts).

While the index was let down by Miscellaneous (-90.30pts), Real Estate Investment Trust (-7.91pts), Tobacco (-3.78pts), Insurance (+0.00pts), and Leather & Tanneries (+0.00pts).

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 50,764.39 with a net gain of 548.49 points or 1.09%.

Total market volume was 783.29 million shares compared to 768.83m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs36.37 billion showing an increase of Rs5.64bn.

There were 345,395 trades reported in 477 companies with 291 closing up, 137 closing down, and 49 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 35,911 points or 28.59% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 46,412 points or 40.31% so far this calendar year.
