November 07, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Friday's trading session at 159,592.90, showing an increase of 496.12 points or 0.31%.

The index traded in a range of 1,430.81 points showing an intraday high of 160,435.94 (+1,339.16) and a low of 159,005.13 (-91.65) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 216.91 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 59 closed up, 40 closed down, while 1 were unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were ATRL (+4.09%), HGFA (+3.69%), PAKT (+3.52%), GLAXO (+2.50%), and MARI (+2.18%).

On the other hand, top losers were PSEL (-3.57%), KTML (-3.37%), TRG (-3.07%), PGLC (-2.69%), and PIBTL (-2.03%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were MARI (+121.59pts), UBL (+99.25pts), MEBL (+76.08pts), PPL (+68.96pts), and NBP (+61.02pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were FFC (-110.63pts), HBL (-73.82pts), PSEL (-56.76pts), ENGROH (-29.48pts), and TRG (-26.76pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+255.09pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+227.65pts), Refinery (+41.54pts), Power Generation & Distribution (+41.20pts), and Oil & Gas Marketing Companies (+32.11pts).

While the index was let down by Fertilizer (-115.19pts), Miscellaneous (-58.32pts), Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (-25.46pts), Textile Composite (-18.63pts), and Technology & Communication (-10.98pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 50,215.90 with a net gain of 128.79 points or 0.26%.

Total market volume was 768.83 million shares compared to 957.30m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs30.74 billion showing an increase of Rs0.29bn.

There were 318,104 trades reported in 479 companies with 228 closing up, 203 closing down, and 48 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 33,966 points or 27.04% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 44,466 points or 38.62% so far this calendar year.
