PM terms strategic partnership with China, strong anchor for peace and prosperity

July 7, 2021: Prime Minister Imran Khan says the all weather strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China remains a strong anchor for peace, progress, and prosperity in this era of complex and profound changes at global and regional level.

He was virtually addressing the participants of Communist Party of China and World Political Parties Summit.

The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s support to China’s efforts to safeguard world peace, contribute to global development, and preserve international order.

He said in the wake of emerging global and regional environment, Pakistan has recalibrated its priorities from geo-politics to geo-economics.

Imran Khan said China Pakistan Economic Corridor complements Pakistan’s renewed efforts of this geo-economic shift with emphasis on economic integration and regional connectivity.

He said Pakistan and China are iron brothers and they support each other on issues of their respective core interests.
