Macter brings full-range Semaglutide to Pakistan

November 07, 2025 (MLN): Macter International Limited (PSX: MACTER) has
introduced Semaglutide in Pre-Filled Syringe (PFS) and Pre-Filled Multi-Dose
Pen (PFP) presentations, according to a company filing on the Pakistan Stock
Exchange (PSX).
Semaglutide, a Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor
agonist, is a modern therapy used globally for the management of Type 2
Diabetes Mellitus and increasingly recognized for its role in weight management
and metabolic health.
With this introduction, Macter has become the only company
in Pakistan to offer Semaglutide in all three biotechnology dosage formats,
Vials, Pre-Filled Syringes, and Pre-Filled Pens.
The company stated that this milestone represents a
significant advancement in its Biotech portfolio and reinforces its leadership
in introducing advanced and globally competitive therapies to patients in
Pakistan.
