September 08, 2022 (MLN): Mari Petroleum Company Limited (PSX: MARI) has suspended production operations at Zarghun South Gas Field and Ziarat Block temporarily as the flash floods adversely impacted the gas pipelines and road infrastructure in Balochistan, the company filing on PSX showed today.

However, the company is taking all possible measures for early commencement of production after the rehabilitation of the pipeline and road network.

MARI is the operator of Zarghun South Gas Field and Ziarat Block in Balochistan with 35% and 60% working interests, respectively.

Around 10 MMSCFD of gas is produced from Zarghun South Gas Field, which is supplied to SSGCL, while around 500 BPD of oil is produced from Ziarat Block (Bolan East-1), which is mainly transported to Attock Refinery Limited through bowsers.
