Hala Enterprises to increase weaving capacity by 75%

September 17, 2025 (MLN): Hala Enterprises Limited is poised for a significant expansion, having established a Letter of Credit for the import of brand new Air Jet Terry Towel weaving machines from Shandong Rifa Textile Machinery Co. Ltd. of China, valued at $217,600.

This strategic move will increase the company's current weaving production capacity by approximately 75%.

The new machinery is expected to boost in-house production capacity, leading to a rise in export turnover.

The upgrade will also enhance efficiency, reduce production downtime and reject rates and improve product quality through modern technology.

The highly efficient setup is projected to lower long-term operating costs.

The company is funding the import through an internal arrangement, with a director providing financial support in their personal capacity.

This approach enables the company to avoid external borrowing costs and liabilities, and the repayment will be managed without impacting ongoing operations or working capital.
