Gold prices dipped by Rs 750 to Rs 106,400 per tola

March 17, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices edged lower in the domestic bullion market amid a similar trend in global markets as investors remained cautious ahead of the US Fed policy announcement. The price of 24 karat gold per tola and 10-gram jumped by Rs 750 and Rs 643 to settle at Rs 106,400 and Rs 91,221 respectively.

On the other hand, the price of silver remained static as 24-Karat silver per tola and 10-gram were available at Rs 1,370 and Rs 1,174.55 respectively, data provided by Karachi Sarafa Association revealed.

In the international market, yellow metal prices edged lower by USD 6 and traded at USD 1,728 per ounce, while silver was valued at 25.90 compared to 26.10 an ounce reported yesterday.
