Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs2,500 per tola

July 18, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs357,600 per tola, up Rs2,500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs306,584 after a gain of Rs2,143, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs281,045 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,012 per tola (+Rs48) and Rs3,439 per 10-gram (+Rs41).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,353 an ounce, up $13.1 or 0.39% from the previous session.

Gold prices firmed on Friday on a weaker dollar and persistent geopolitical tensions, though easing concerns about the U.S. Federal Reserve's independence, and strong U.S. data capped gains.
