Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs1,500 per tola

October 07, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs416,778 per tola, up Rs1,500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs357,319 after a gain of Rs1,286, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs327,554 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,929 per tola (-Rs20) and Rs4,225 per 10-gram (-Rs17).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,953 an ounce, down $16.3 or 0.41% from the previous session.

Gold hit a record high Tuesday as there were no signs of a reprieve from an impasse between the two houses of the U.S. Congress that had led to a government shutdown, while near-certain bets of a Federal Reserve rate cut this month provided support.
