Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs3,500 per tola

October 23, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs433,862 per tola, down Rs3,500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs371,966 after a decline of Rs3,001, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs340,981 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs5,110 per tola and Rs4,381 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,114 an ounce, up $27.3 or 0.67% from the previous session, as U.S. sanctions against Russia and possible new export controls on China added to geopolitical risks, buoying demand for safe-haven assets.

Goldman Sachs has reiterated its forecast, predicting that gold prices will reach $4,900 per ounce by the end of 2026.

The bank attributes this bullish outlook to growing investor demand for gold as a strategic diversification asset, noting that consistent structural buying could push prices even higher than their target.
