FBR to achieve target of Rs5.83tr comfortably: PM

September 1, 2021 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs850 billion during July-August 2021, beyond the targeted figure by 23%.
In a Tweet, the Premier stated that FBR will comfortably achieve the target of annual tax collection target of Rs5.83 trillion given the surpassed tax collection of the first two months of the ongoing fiscal year.
He said this reflects growth of 51 percent in revenue over the same period last year, he added.
