FATF to decide Pakistan's fate on June 25

June 21, 2021 (MLN): The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the global anti-money laundering watchdog is set to hold its virtual Plenary later this week on June 25, a press release said on Monday.

The FATF said that the agenda for the meeting includes updates to the Jurisdictions under Increased Monitoring list (often referred to as the grey list); country assessments (mutual evaluations) of Japan and South Africa; and finalizing key reports, including on money laundering and environmental crime.

The meeting will be held at 14:30 Paris time (12:0 GMT) on June 25 (Friday).
