Beco Steel secures position in approved vendor list of power utilities

November 07, 2025 (MLN): Beco Steel Limited (PSX:BECO) has begun supplying steel angles used in electric transmission poles and related infrastructure to various projects of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and Distribution Companies (DISCOs) through indirect vendors.

The company is now positioned to be included in the approved vendor lists of these entities. This inclusion will allow Beco Steel to supply materials directly for upcoming power and infrastructure projects, according to the company’s filing on PSX.

The company stated that the development would strengthen its presence in the power sector and is expected to positively impact sales, profitability, and overall market share.

“The management remains committed to expanding its customer base, maintaining high-quality standards, and pursuing growth opportunities that enhance shareholder value,” the company added.
