July 28, 2021 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Askari Bank Limited (AKBL), in its meeting held on July 28, 2021, has decided to appoint Mr. Atif R. Bokhari, as President & CEO of Askari Bank Limited for a term of three years, who will join w.e.f. September 1, 2021, subject to the approval of the State Bank of Pakistan and compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in this regard.

Concurrently, the Board placed on record their appreciation for the services rendered by the outgoing President & CEO, Mr. Abid Sattar on completion of his term on August 08, 2021, as per the notice issued by the bank to PSX.

The Board has further appointed Mr. Khurshid Zafar, COO, as Acting President & CEO of Askari Bank Limited w.e.f. August 09, 2021, till the joining of the new President & CEO.
