786 Investments receives SECP approval for license renewal

July 10, 2025 (MLN): 786 Investments Limited (PSX: 786) has secured a three-year renewal of its licenses to provide Asset Management and Investment Advisory services.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), through correspondence dated July 3 and July 4, confirmed the extension, effective from May 26, 2025.

The decision, issued under Rule 5(9) of the Non-Banking Finance Companies (Establishment and Regulation) Rules, 2003, reinforced the firm’s status as a Non-Banking Finance Company.

The licenses carry conditions that require compliance with multiple legal frameworks including the Securities Act, 2015, the Companies Ordinance, 1984, and the Companies Act, 2017.

Regular submission of financial and operational reports is also mandated.

Company Secretary Noman Shakir communicated the update to the Pakistan Stock Exchange under regulatory disclosure obligations.
