Xiaomi Technology inaugurates manufacturing facility in Pakistan

March 4, 2022 (MLN): Xiaomi Technology has inaugurated its manufacturing facility in Pakistan with AirLink Communication today, with a plan of $500mn investment, Minister of Energy, Hammad Azhar said .

As a result of this, Pakistan has entered into a huge market for mobile exports, he added.

Xiaomi, a global technology giant, has kicked off production in collaboration with Select Technologies (Pvt) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Link Communication. The production facility has been established at Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Kot Lakhpat.
