Weekly SCRA records Rs3.6bn sale

November 21, 2024 (MLN): The net sale of securities for the week ended November 15, 2024 clocked in at Rs3.61bn, as compared to a net sale worth Rs11.57bn recorded last week, data released by the State Bank of Pakistan showed.

During the week, the gross sale of securities was recorded at Rs33.49bn, which is around 30.46% higher than the figures recorded last week.

Similarly, the total purchase of securities stood at Rs29.88bn, which is 111.9% higher than the prior week, resulting in a net sale of Rs3.61bn for the week.

Over the week, the overall purchase of securities increased by Rs15.78bn while the net sale of securities increased by Rs7.82bn.

Apart from this, the inflow of remittance into these accounts stood at Rs11.9bn, while its outflow has been reported at Rs10.6bn.

The closing balance of SCRA was recorded at Rs34.79bn, which marks a rise of Rs6.85bn over the week.
