Treet Corporation reported loss of Rs303mn in FY22

September 28, 2022 (MLN): Treet corporation (TREET) announced results for FY22 wherein the company’s profit-after-tax declined by 155%YoY loss of Rs303million compared to Rs548mn profit in the corresponding period last year, the company’s filings on the stock exchange showed on Wednesday.

The company’s earnings per share clocked in at Rs (1.76) from Rs3.22 in FY21.

TREET’s topline increased by 11%YoY to Rs15.79bn against Rs14.19bn in FY21, and gross profit increased by 5% to Rs2.67bn against Rs2.55bn in FY22.

Furthermore, in FY22, profit before taxation (PBT) declined 111% to a loss of Rs56mn against Rs523mn profit in FY21. The decline in PBT is due to 69% decrease in other income.
