TOMCL boosts production capacity by 30% for chilled products

May 02, 2024 (MLN): The Organic Meat Company Limited (PSX: TOMCL) has successfully completed the first phase of its operational expansion project at the Gadap processing facility, it said in a company filing on Thursday.

This phase includes a 30% increase in the company’s chilled product capacity, significantly enhancing its overall production capabilities.

“Today marks a significant milestone in our company's growth trajectory as we announce the completion of the first phase of our operational expansion project,” read the notice issued by the company on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The implementation of this phase of expansion is strategically aimed at meeting the growing demand for TOMCL’s  products in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) markets and will cater to a wider export base in these markets.

The company is positioning itself to capitalize on emerging opportunities and cater to the evolving needs of its customers in the wider GCC region.

“We believe that this expansion not only strengthens our position in existing markets but also opens up avenues for sustained growth and profitability,” the notice reads.

It added that as the company continues to execute its expansion plans, it remains committed to delivering long-term value to its shareholders.
