Tokyo stocks rallied on Tuesday as investors tracked another surge on Wall Street as inflation fears that sparked wild volatility earlier this month receded.

The benchmark Nikkei 225 index jumped 1.07 percent, or 236.23 points, to close at 22,389.86 while the broader Topix index was up 0.88 percent, or 15.53 points, at 1,790.34 – APP/AFP
