Tapal Energy files tariff petition with NEPRA for 5 year extension in PPA

March 18, 2019 (MLN): National Electric Power Regulation Authority (NEPRA) has admitted a petition filed by Tapal Energy Private Limited for determination of tariff for proposed extension in Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for another five years from June 20 2019, to June 20, 2024 for its Power Plant located in Karachi, Sindh.

According to an announcement by NEPRA, the mentioned plant generates 126 MW gross and a net of 123.5 MW power on RFO fuel, which is supplied to K-Electric.

The notification further includes proposed tariff by Tapal Energy Private Limited, on Energy Charge and Capacity Charge.
